India Price is an art advisor, currently based in New York City. Drawing on years of experience working in London, Venice, New York, and even the emerging world of digital art and NFTs, India provides acquisition guidance and support that makes collection building easy. India has worked in various sectors of the art world, including auction houses, museums, and leading contemporary art galleries. While at Pace Gallery, she produced over 15 independent projects and events within the gallery's Web3 initiative, Pace Verso, collaborating with renowned artists such as Maya Lin, John Gerrard, Trevor Paglen, Loie Hollowell, and studio DRIFT. Previously, she led the digital art program at Gazelli Art House, where she curated exhibitions for a bespoke project space and facilitated partnerships with industry leaders at the intersection of art and technology.
At the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy, India specialized in surrealism and assisted with the patrons team in preparing for the 65th Venice Biennale. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Art History from University College London, where she specialized in modern and contemporary art, weaving together the relations among Post Internet Art, 20th Century photography, and the contemporary art market. She is actively involved in mentoring programs at the New Museum’s tech incubation program, New Inc, and has served as a mentor for the VCA residency program. She regularly contributes to publications on digital art and was recently published in Taschen’s book “On NFTs.”
